Welcome to a new fantasy week, everyone. We will examine three players in this week’s edition of Stop, Drop, or Roll. Here’s how it goes. Stop is a designation for a player you should keep on your bench who is not yet droppable. Drop is a player who is droppable at this point in the season. Roll is a player you need to keep rolling out in your weekly line up.

Stop
Devin Funchess (WR, CAR) – Funchess had two solid games in Weeks 4-5 versus a shambled Patriots defense and a Lions defense that is less than unbeatable. Those two weeks also consisted of three combined TDs from the Panthers’ number two WR on the depth chart. Unfortunately, Funchess is not a playable WR moving forward. Newton has been inconsistent and Kelvin Benjamin has gone back to his go-to. Both Benjamin and McCaffrey are the only two players outside of Newton that you should be starting in your fantasy lineups. Leave Funchess on your bench unless you’re in need of a desperation flex play.
Drop
Martavis Bryant (WR, PIT) – Bryant is now a droppable asset. Brown and Bell dominate this offense and that is not going to change. There have been reports of Bryant’s unhappiness and demands of a trade. With the emergence of Juju Smith-Schuster, Bryant has become an afterthought. Barring a trade to another team, which the Steelers already stated they’re not interested in doing, dump Bryant to the waiver wire and find yourself a player with more upside.
Roll
Tyreek Hill (WR, KC) – Hill is the definition of boom or bust. He has four games of double-digit scoring and three with under 10. But Hill is still a must start, as his upside outweighs his downside. His big play explosiveness allows you to play Hill with confidence. It’s encouraging to see KC make an effort to find creative ways to get Hill the ball, who has at least four catches in each game this year and is seeing 8-9 targets a game. With defenses starting to key in on Hunt and doubling Kelce in the middle, look for Alex Smith, whose having and MVP-caliber season, to continue to look Hill’s way. Start Hill with confidence each week as a WR2.
