The Bears have officially tendered a contract to tight end Jesper Horsted. He had been an exclusive rights free agent.
Fantasy Impact: Horsted hasn’t had much of an impact over the last two seasons, catching just 10 passes for 108 yards. However, the new regime in Chicago likely views him as Jimmy Graham’s successor, meaning Horsted could be utilized more in the end zone next season. He has already shown promise as a target around the goal line as three of his 10 receptions have resulted in a touchdown. Still, at most, he’s a depth opinion for tight end-needy teams in very deep dynasty formats.
