As expected, LT Orlando Brown Jr. will not report to Kansas City Chiefs training camp in St. Joseph, MO, Tuesday which he tweeted without hesitation, per NFL Networks, Mike Garafolo.
Fantasy Impact: Brown’s absence from training camp doesn’t come as a surprise after he and the Chiefs were unable to reach an agreement on a long-term deal before the July 15th deadline for franchise-tagged players. Since he hasn’t signed the $16.66 million tag, he will not be subject to fines and officially will hold out. At this point, it’s anyone’s guess when and if the 26-year-old three-time Pro Bowl, left tackle will report to camp but it goes without saying, how important he is to the Chief’s success this upcoming season.
