Second-round rookie RB Kenneth Walker signed his four-year, $8.44 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy Impact: After transferring from Wake Forest to Michigan State, Walker became a Heisman hopeful after rushing for 1,636 yards and 18 touchdowns. The Seahawks invested a second-round pick in Walker, but his short-term outlook in Seattle doesn’t seem great. Plenty of reports have said they view RB Rashaad Penny as the starter this season and RBs DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer as the team’s third-down backs. Walker is a great investment in dynasty formats, but in re-draft leagues, he might just be a true handcuff to Penny in 2022.
