Daniel Jones played 19 snaps and completed 6-of-10 pass attempts for 69 yards. Jones also added six yards on the ground in the Giants’ 23-21 preseason win against the Patriots.
Fantasy Impact: Gauging a quarterback’s performance in the preseason is tough due to limited snap counts and offensive coordinators not wanting to show NFL teams their entire playbook. That being said, Jones looked solid. The fourth-year QB made some nice throws and led the Giants inside the 5-yard line on their opening drive, only for Kenny Golladay to drop a potential touchdown pass. Jones took some hard hits that the Giants likely did not want to see, but after having his 2021 season cut short due to an unspecified neck injury, it was reassuring that he was able to get up and continue playing.
