Robbie Anderson did not play in Friday’s 20-10 preseason loss to the Patriots.
Fantasy Impact: Anderson likely was never going to play in this game, as the Panthers rolled out all backups on the offensive side of the ball. However, the wideout was also dealing with a quad injury earlier in the week that may have left him out even if Carolina had opted to play the starters for a drive or two. The 29-year-old will probably be ready to go for Week 1 when he figures to start as the team’s WR2, where his fantasy value will heavily depend on the quarterback play of either Baker Mayfield or Sam Darnold.
