DJ Chark Jr. caught neither of his two targets in the Lions’ 19-9 preseason loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Chark played in only the one preseason game, and it was certainly not encouraging as he was unable to haul in either of his two targets. The Lions WR does have the excuse that he was unable to play with his QB1, who he will be playing with all season, however he is still an NFL WR and should be able to work with whoever his QB is. The 25-year-old is coming off of a 2021 season in which he broke his ankle, and he is currently ranked as the WR59 in FantasyPros ECR, a range in drafts in which managers can pick him free of risk as the most common strategy late in drafts is to take a high-ceiling flier.
