Chad Graff of The Athletic projects that running back J.J. Taylor won’t make the Patriots’ 53-man roster.
Fantasy Impact: It looks like Taylor has a very real chance of being released when final cuts are made on Tuesday. The 24-year-old has spent two seasons with the Patriots, totaling 149 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns through 11 games. He had improved in pass protection this summer, but there are only so many roster spots to go around. Taylor would presumably be a priority practice squad signing for the Patriots if none of the other 31 teams try to add him to their active rosters.
