According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the New Orleans Saints are waiving sophomore QB Ian Book who played and started one game last season.
Fantasy Impact: Book spent four seasons at Notre Dame before being drafted in the fourth round by the Saints. He started one game last season in relief for both QBs Jameis Winston and Andy Dalton, throwing two interceptions in a 20-3 loss to Miami. According to Rapoport, the Saints plan on bringing him back on their practice squad should he clear waivers, though there is some interest across the league.
