The Tennessee Titans have reworked Derrick Henry’s contract according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Fantasy Impact: The reworking of Henry’s contract results in the All-Pro getting a $2 million raise this season. Henry, who still only remains under contract in Tennessee through the 2023 season, will make $14 million this season. Henry rushed for 937 yards and 10 touchdowns in just eight games last season and still finished ninth and sixth in the NFL respectively. King Henry’s Lisfranc injury last season is allowing him to slip to lucky fantasy managers in the middle or later parts of the first round who are savvy enough to trust him.
