Robert Tonyan will play in Green Bay’s Week 1 matchup against the Vikings, according to head coach Matt LaFleur.
Fantasy Impact: Tonyan returned to team drills just last week, so it seems as if he has made great progress in returning from an ACL injury last season. The tight end will be one of the few offensive weapons that has familiarity with Aaron Rodgers, which bodes well for his potential to produce. The 28-year-old could become one of Green Bay’s go-to red zone options this season, but for now, he will function as a TE2 in fantasy.
