George Kittle, listed as questionable for Sunday’s Week 2 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks due to a groin injury, is not expected to play, according to a report from ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Fantasy Impact: Kittle practiced late in the week and is pushing to play, but it sounds like the 49ers are holding him out for at least one more week. The fact that he is a game-time decision for Week 2 bodes well for his potential availability in Week 3, but fantasy managers who drafted Kittle with an early pick will now be without the tight end for a second straight game to begin the season. With Kittle out in Week 1, Tyler Krof played 37 snaps on offense, but fellow TEs Ross Dwelley and Charlie Woerner also rotated into the game, playing 19 snaps each.
