Jameis Winston, who was considered doubtful to play Sunday, has officially been downgraded to out. Andy Dalton will serve as the Saints QB1, per Adam Schefter.
Fantasy Impact: Winston has been dealing with a back injury that will now force him to miss his first game of the 2022 season. With Michael Thomas already ruled out, the shorthanded Saints will turn to long-time veteran Andy Dalton to lead their offense. Dalton is a veteran who is capable of leading an offense when called upon and should be considered an emergency streaming option at the position. With Winston and Thomas out, perhaps more touches will fall to rookie Chris Olave, as well as the Saints runningbacks.
