Gus Edwards is officially active for Baltimore’s Week 7 matchup with Cleveland according to The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec.
Fantasy Impact: Edwards will be active for the first time since tearing his ACL in Week 1 of last season. The veteran back has averaged 5.2 yards per carry over his career and with J.K. Dobbins (knee) being placed on the IR, Edwards could be a big part of Baltimore’s rushing attack over the rest of the season. In season-long leagues, it’s probably best to wait to start him until we see how the Ravens plan to utilize him and if they want to ease him back in early in his return. He does make for an intriguing low-cost flier in DFS contests, however. Either way, things are developing well in Baltimore for Edwards to be a fantasy stud in the second half of the season.
