James Robinson rushed for 48 yards on 13 carries while catching 2-of-2 targets for an additional five yards and one touchdown in New York’s 20-17 win over the Bills in Week 9.
Fantasy Impact: Robinson totaled 53 yards but his fantasy day was saved by his first touchdown in a Jets uniform. The score was a big one as it gave New York the 17-14 lead with 4:03 left in the 3rd quarter after trailing 14-3 early. Robinson is starting to find himself as a Jet, really compliments Michael Carter, and appears to be the help the Jets needed after Breece Hall was lost for the year. Robinson’s fantasy ceiling is obviously capped by his nearly even split with Carter (JR – 15 touches/MC – 13 touches) but Week 9 proved they can both eat in the Jets’ offense. Unfortunately, Robinson’s managers will have to look for other options in Week 10 as the Jets are on a bye.
