Brock Purdy completed 25 of his 37 pass attempts for 210 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in San Francisco’s Week 13 win against Miami. He added four carries for negative one yard.
Fantasy Impact: Purdy entered the game on the second drive to fill in for Jimmy Garoppolo, who was carted off the field with a foot injury. Garoppolo was later ruled out for the rest of the season after a broken foot was confirmed. As a result, Purdy, the final pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, will take over the starting job for the 49ers. He looked quite serviceable against the below-average Dolphins defense, as he threw for over 200 yards and notched two scores. He did throw an interception on a fourth down play midway through the second quarter, but otherwise looked fairly comfortable most of the afternoon. Purdy will have a more difficult task against the Buccaneers in Week 14, but has plenty of support on both sides of the ball to produce a clean game. Fantasy managers in Superflex leagues who are QB-needy can consider adding him to rosters.
