Michael Carter rushed for five yards on five carries and caught 3-of-6 targets for an additional 15 yards in New York’s 20-12 loss to the Bills in Week 14.
Fantasy Impact: Carter ceded the lion’s share of the rushing work to Zonovan Knight but handled more of the passing work, out-targeting Knight 6-2, despite being out-carried 17-5. Carter appears to have slid back into his role as complementary back that he filled early in the year before Breece Hall’s knee injury, In the Jets’ last four games, Carter has only totaled 77 yards on 25 touches (3.08-yard avg) and was scratched from Week 13. Carter has slipped back into fantasy irrelevancy with the emergence of Zonovan Knight and is expendable.
