Desmond Ridder completed 13 of his 26 pass attempts for 97 yards in Atlanta’s Week 15 loss to New Orleans. He added six carries for 38 yards.
Fantasy Impact: Ridder had a very rough outing in his professional debut, as he failed to clear 100 passing yards or score a touchdown. He averaged merely 3.7 yards per attempt and finished with a QB rating of 59.3. In addition, he nearly threw two interceptions. Despite his 38 yards on the ground, he ultimately picked up 18 of those yards on the meaningless final play of the game. Nevertheless, Ridder should gradually improve as he gains more experience on the field, where he’ll have at least three more weeks this season to produce. For now, however, he remains off the fantasy radar.
