San Francisco 49ers RB Elijah Mitchell remains away from the team’s practices as he recovers from his sprained MCL, according to ESPN’s Nick Wagoner. Dec. 30 marked his first day eligible for return from IR.
Fantasy Impact: Mitchell will need to wait until next week to be activated back on the team’s active roster, keeping the majority of the snaps at RB for Christian McCaffrey. Mithcell reportedly has progressed well and could have his 21-day window opened soon in anticipation of the postseason.
