According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the New York Jets plan to release WR Braxton Berrios at the start of the league year to save on cap space.
Fantasy Impact: Berrios’ release will save $5 million for the Jets, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, and the deal comes as a result of the two sides failing to agree on a restructure. Berrios has played four seasons in New York with 1,245 scrimmage yards and nine touchdowns. Berrios will add returner ability and slot depth to wherever he goes.
