The Denver Broncos informed QB Brett Rypien that he will not receive a tender as a restricted free agent.
Fantasy Impact: Rypien, a former undrafted free agent, played some games as the Broncos’ starter in times of need, throwing for 483 yards and two touchdowns in 2022. However, Denver does not feel that the cheapest tender of $2.63 million is worth placing on the backup QB. Rypien will be able to test the open market.
