The Detroit Lions have selected TE Sam LaPorta with the No. 34 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: LaPorta likely moves into the starting tight end role for the Lions immediately as a rookie. LaPorta should see plenty of targets in an offense that is focused on surrounding Jared Goff with plenty of pass catching options.
