Tyreek Hill is under police investigation on allegations of assault/battery at a Miami Beach marina, the Miami-Dade Police Department announced Tuesday. Hill reportedly struck a marina employee during an argument, but the employee has declined to press charges. The Dolphins acknowledged the incident in a statement, saying, “We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives and the NFL. We will reserve further comment at this time.”
Fantasy Impact: Hill set career highs in receiving yards, receptions and targets in his first season in Miami in 2022, despite QB Tua Tagovailoa’s injury issues. He remains a top-end WR1 in all fantasy formats heading into his age-29 season, and he and fellow WR Jaylen Waddle form one of the top pass-catching duos in the NFL. However, any police investigation could trigger the NFL’s personal conduct policy, and the league reserves the right to punish–and even suspend–players even if no charges are filed. There is no indication that is the case here, but even the hint of a possible suspension would impact Hill’s ADP as we inch closer to fantasy draft season.
