Kyle Trask has an opportunity to earn starting role

Kyle Trask is still a candidate to earn the Bucs’ starting QB role, although it seems Baker Mayfield may have the inside track.

Fantasy Impact: The Bucs’ offensive coordinator Dave Canales has said the team won’t “rush to make any [roster] decisions,” which leaves the door open for Trask to be the starter. If the Florida product can outshine Mayfield in a big way during the preseason and camps, he may earn the starting job. If Trask does find his way into a starting role, he could be a wavier wire add, but as it stands he should most likely remain off of draft boards in standard leagues.
