Bryce Young signs rookie deal with Carolina

Bryce Young has signed his rookie deal, a fully guaranteed four-year, $37.9 million contract.

Fantasy Impact: Things just got real in Carolina. While his long-term outlook is promising, in the short term he could struggle, as rookie quarterbacks usually do when adjusting to the speed of the NFL. The good news is Young has a solid offensive line in front of him and stable running backs, he just needs one of his receivers to emerge into a true No.1 target. That or Carolina acquires a difference-maker via trade or next year’s draft. For fantasy this season he likely won’t be any higher than a mid-range QB2, likely finishing towards the back end of the QB2 ranks.
