Josh Jacobs will not report to training camp Tuesday and was spotted on a flight leaving Las Vegas early Tuesday morning. He reportedly has also said he won’t be returning “anytime soon”.
Fantasy Impact: While this may not be a surprise since Jacobs did not sign his franchise tender or reach a long-term deal with the Raiders by the deadline, any extended absence would have a significant impact on the offense. Jacobs, who is currently being drafted as RB7 and 16th overall according to FantasyPros consensus ADP, led the league in both rushing yards and yards from scrimmage in 2022. That alone will be difficult enough to replace, but Jacobs also played 615 more snaps than any other Raiders RB last season. Zamir White, Ameer Abdullah, and Brandon Bolden would help fill any gap left by Jacobs if his holdout were to continue into the regular season.
