Jalen Hurd announced his retirement from the NFL Tuesday

Jalen Hurd, who had just signed on with New England, announced Tuesday that he will be retiring from the NFL.

Fantasy Impact: Hurd was a bit of a hybrid back receiver in college, and he showed enough to earn a third-round selection by the 49ers in 2019. However, things never panned out for Hurd at the NFL level as he could not stay healthy. It seemed as though Hurd was going to give it another go in 2023, but instead, he announced he is stepping away from the game.
