According to Reuben Frank of NBC Sports Philadelphia, RB Boston Scott is not considered a lock for the Eagles’ final roster, but he embraces the competition and is committed to giving the team everything he has.
Fantasy Impact: Scott has been an important part of the Eagles’ backfield rotation, often playing as a change-of-pace RB2/3. Scott is one of the most veteran players on Philly’s offensive roster, and he’s also owed the most money in 2023 of all the Eagles’ running backs. With recent acquisitions in Rashaad Penny and D’Andre Swift as well as younger options in Kenny Gainwell and Trey Sermon, it’s hard to see a path for production for Scott outside of loyalty and incumbency from the organization, and he could see himself on the practice squad or another team in 2023.
