Josh Jacobs is receiving interest from AFC West rivals Denver and Kansas City should his franchise tag be rescinded. There are several options on the table for the Raiders among them including Jacobs returning, a reworked one-year deal, and Vegas rescinding the tag which would make Jacobs a free agent.
Fantasy Impact: While unlikely, the possibility is there. Las Vegas is a team that could implode quickly should things go wrong, releasing Jacobs would jump-start that process and improve their chances at a top pick. Denver is a much less appealing fantasy destination for Jacobs than Kansas City, where he would be the unquestioned top option in the running game. Jacobs is already being drafted among the top fantasy running backs, and it’s unlikely a move would raise his ceiling higher than it already is. If anything, it may hurt it.
