According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson is expected to start in their preseason game against the Washington Commanders.
Fantasy Impact: Watson playing is likely a sign that the Browns still want to see him play in more games after a disappointing 2022 season. Watson missed nearly two season of action due to a mixture of holding out, ongoing legal problems and suspensions. However, Watson likely won’t play much more than a quarter as their starter, just enough time to practice some scripted series. Behind him, Joshua Dobbs, Kellen Mond and Dorian Thompson-Robinson could all see time in Friday’s contest.
