Israel Abanikanda leads rushing attack Saturday against Panthers

Israel Abanikanda led the Jets rushing attack Saturday, carrying the ball 12 times for 56 rushing yards while also catching all three of his targets for 31 receiving yards in the Jets’ 27-0 win over the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: Abanikanda was able to find ample running room Saturday, averaging an impressive 4.7 yards per carry in the contest. The 20-year-old Pittsburgh product will look to continue his impressive training camp in hopes of carving out some sort of role as part of a backfield group looking for plenty of explosive plays this upcoming season.
