Elliott Fry released by Broncos

According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, kicker Elliott Fry is being released by the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Impact: Despite being the more accurate of the Broncos’ two kickers during Denver’s preseason opener – making one of two field goals and making his lone extra-point attempt – Fry is being released in favor of veteran kicker Brett Maher. Fry, who is 28, has only played in three career regular season games, hitting five of his six field goal attempts. He can look for the opportunity to land at another camp and compete in the preseason again.
