Sean Clifford wins Packers’ backup QB job

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur stated Thursday that Sean Clifford is their No. 2 quarterback.

Fantasy Impact: Clifford was expected to win the backup role, but now the team has made it official. Clifford will enter his rookie season backing up first-year starter Jordan Love. The 25-year-old completed 73.3% of his passes for 345 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in two preseason games.
