According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Buffalo Bills released TE Jace Sternberger Sunday as part of their roster cuts.
Fantasy Impact: Despite being a third-round pick in 2019, Sternberger has not played a snap since his 12-catch season in 2020 with the Green Bay Packers. Since then, he has spent time with Washington, Pittsburgh and Buffalo, failing to make an active roster. At the age of 27, Sternberger hasn’t proved much yet in the NFL, but he could be signed to a practice squad by a team looking for a FB/TE hybrid.
