Malik Davis waived by Cowboys

Malik Davis has been waived by the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Impact: There was some optimism earlier in the offseason that Davis could win the backup job behind Tony Pollard, but he was a bit underwhelming and will now hit the waiver wire. If he goes unclaimed, Dallas has interest in bringing him back on the practice squad. For now, this just means that Rico Dowdle and Deuce Vaughn are the next guys up in the Cowboys’ backfield.
