Alex Erickson signing with Chargers on practice squad

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, veteran WR and returner Alex Erickson is joining the Los Angeles Chargers practice squad.

Fantasy Impact: Erickson was cut by the Jets on Tuesday, not too long after he had a two-touchdown performance in a Jets preseason finale victory over the Giants. The 30-year-old WR had a 529-yard receiving season in 2019 but has spent most of his time as a return specialist. Rookie WR Derius Davis will likely carry those duties this season, but Erickson could be a veteran option in case of injury.
