Matt Corral claimed by Patriots

Matt Corral has been claimed by the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Impact: The Panthers waived Corral on Wednesday, and the Patriots were quick to claim him off of waivers on Thursday. The only quarterback they currently have on the active roster is Mac Jones, so there’s certainly a path for Corral to become the backup in New England this year. For fantasy purposes, he probably won’t have much value, but there is the off-chance that he gets a spot start if Jones goes down with an injury.
