Anthony McFarland Jr. hauls in two passes in Week 1 loss

Anthony McFarland Jr. hauled in each of his two targets for 11 yards in the Steelers’ 30-7 Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: McFarland Jr. did not see significant involvement on offense for the Steelers Sunday, failing to register a carry while finishing last in targets as well. The running back is currently the third option out of the backfield behind Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren and will likely need an injury to one of the two to offer any sort of fantasy value in most formats.
