Saquon Barkley records 15 touches in Week 1 blowout loss

Saquon Barkley carried the ball 12 times for 51 yards while also catching three of his four targets for 12 yards in the Giants’ 40-0 Week 1 loss to the Dallas Cowboys Sunday night.

Fantasy Impact: Barkley was the lone consistent option for the Giants offense before the game got out of hand for the team, averaging 4.3 yards per carry on a night in which the offense had no answer for a disruptive Dallas defensive unit. The versatile running back should see plenty of volume in a favorable Week 2 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals next Sunday.
