Despite the Denver Broncos’ nail-biting 35-33 loss to the Washington Commanders, 28-year-old running back Samaje Perine’s performance was less than stellar.
Fantasy Impact: With only one carry for a meager 4 yards, Perine’s ground game was virtually non-existent. However, he did manage to make a slight impact in the passing game, hauling in 3 of his 4 targets for a total of 20 yards. His lack of touchdowns, both on the ground and through the air, left fantasy managers wanting more. Currently ranked as RB40 for the week and RB32 for the season, Perine’s fantasy value is dwindling. His performance in Week 2 did little to boost his stock, and with the Miami Dolphins on the horizon, Perine will need to step up his game if he wants to climb the fantasy rankings.
