David Montgomery not expected to play TNF Week 4

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery (thigh) is not expected to return to the field in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Impact: Montgomery, who is dealing with a thigh bruise, seemed to have a promising chance to return to action after missing Week 3, but Pelissero says he will likely not play on Thursday night. However, this is promising for his ability to play in Week 5. Detroit’s RB splits will likely be similar to last week’s, with Jahmyr Gibbs seeing the majority of the touches and Zonovan Knight/Craig Reynolds rotating in, especially on pass-blocking reps and potentially goal-line situations.
