Tony Pollard held in check by 49ers on Sunday night

Tony Pollard rushed for 29 yards on eight carries while catching 4 of 5 targets for 35 yards in Sunday’s 42-10 loss to the 49ers.

Fantasy Impact: Pollard at least gave his PPR managers a bit of production Sunday night, but he was largely bottled up by the 49ers in a blowout loss. Pollard has now underperformed in back-to-back lopsided games for the Cowboys – one a win, one a loss – in terms of fantasy output. As frustrating as that is, do not expect it to continue for the workhorse back. Pollard remains a solid RB1 headed into Week 6. In fact, his last two performances might present a “buy-low” opportunity.
