Emari Demercado scores touchdown after starting RB’s injury

Emari Demercado rushed for 45 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries in the Cardinals’ 34-20 loss to the Bengals. He also caught one of three targets for an additional 12 yards through the air.

Fantasy Impact: Demercado was already in line for a bigger role with Keaontay Ingram (neck) inactive, but he ended up earning even more snaps after James Conner (knee) left in the second quarter and did not return. If running back injuries continue to plague Arizona, Demercado could be the starter in Week 6, ranking as a high-end fantasy RB3.
