Matt Breida caught his lone target for four yards while also rushing five times for 13 yards in the Giants’ 13-10 Week 8 overtime loss to the Jets.
Fantasy Impact: Breida was one of many skill position players that were unable to make much of an impact for head coach Brian Daboll against a strong New York Jets defensive front, averaging less than four yards per touch in a losing effort Sunday. The running back does not offer enough consistent value as long as No. 1 running back Saquon Barkley is healthy, relegating Breida to nothing more than an injury handcuff ahead of a Week 9 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
