Vikings HC Kevin O’Connell said that while superstar WR Justin Jefferson “can’t wait to get back out there,” a Week 10 return to play seems to be an aggressive timeline.
Fantasy Impact: Jefferson was placed on IR after suffering a hamstring injury, and with his team 1-4 at the time, it seemed like he could miss an extended period of time. However, the Vikings rattled off four straight wins and were are in the thick of the NFC playoff hunt. Jefferson was designated to return, opening his 21-day practice window, but it seems Week 10 vs NO may be too soon for him. The Vikings travel to Denver in Week 11, and perhaps that is when Jefferson will return to a team without QB Kirk Cousins.
