Jake Browning completed 8 of 14 passes for 68 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions, adding 40 yards on four carries during Thursday’s 34-20 loss to the Ravens.
Fantasy Impact: Browning was forced into action late in the second quarter of Thursday’s game after Joe Burrow (wrist) exited. Browning, who had previously thrown just one NFL pass, actually fared okay for the most part. The 27-year-old QB did not turn the ball over, showed some running ability, and found Ja’Marr Chase for his first touchdown pass with just over a minute remaining in the game. If Burrow misses Week 12, Browning seems likely to draw his first NFL start. That will obviously have a negative effect on the fantasy upside of Cincy’s pass catchers.
