Trey Palmer caught 4-of-6 targets for 22 yards in Sunday’s 27-14 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Fantasy Impact: Palmer didn’t end up with an encouraging stat line in the box score, but he seemed to produce better in real life. A couple of the catches he made were impressive and had a high degree of difficulty, and while that doesn’t mean much for fantasy purposes, it’s still encouraging to see the rookie show some real promise on the field. He’s not going to be a strong fantasy option in the near future, but he has potential and could be relevant down the road as he continues to carve out a bigger role for himself.
