Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) ‘not close to being game-ready’

Aaron Rodgers is reportedly “not close to being game-ready” but that could change next week when he plans to ramp up what he is doing in practice.

Fantasy Impact: Rodgers told reporters he “badly” wants to play again this year and is targeting a return by the Jets’ December 24th game against Washington. The Jets are 4-7 so it still seems unlikely we see Rodgers on the field again this year unless they go on a run these next few weeks. Rodgers also acknowledged the possibility of re-injuring his Achilles if he returns too soon. “My thing is, what’s the worst that can happen? Something unfortunate again and then you just slow the rehab down.”
