Patriots D/ST allows 27 points in Week 15 loss

The Patriots’ defense surrendered 27 points on 326 yards of total offense while coming up with three sacks and two interceptions in Sunday’s 27-17 loss to the Chiefs.

Fantasy Impact: Despite allowing 27 points, 13 of which came in the third quarter, the Patriots defense did not play all that poorly Sunday. The unit made several impact plays, bringing regular pressure and even intercepting Patrick Mahomes a couple of times. The Patriots even held the Chiefs running game to just 43 yards on 20 attempts. In the end, however, it was Mahomes that proved the difference, as he was able to eclipse 300 yards and a pair of scores through the air. The Patriots will return to the field in Denver on Christmas Eve.
