Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (knee) exited Sunday’s 44-27 win over the Falcons with a knee injury but Head Coach Bruce Arians reportedly stated, “…we don’t think there’s any serious damage.” The star wideout will undergo further evaluations within the next 24 hours, as reported by Field Yates.
Fantasy Impact: Evans was on track for a big day against the Falcons before sustaining a knee injury in the first quarter. Evans still managed to haul in three receptions for 46 yards and broke the 1,000 yard receiving mark for the sixth consecutive season. The Buccaneers expect their star wideout to have avoided serious injury but the injury comes as the team prepares for the playoffs next weekend. Continue monitoring Evan’s status over the next day as he could be eligible to return for Wild Card weekend.
